Head of Quality (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility: Ensuring the transfer of processes, quality standards and testing methods Planning and implementation of risk analyses, qualifications, validations and approval processes Definition and monitoring of relevant quality indicators Developing and ensuring our integrated quality management system Planning, implementation and supervision of internal, external and customer-related audits Ensuring and developing relevant certifications Conducting technical customer discussions, visits and qualifications Processing of complex complaints as well as carrying out causes analyses and 8D reports Ensuring regulatory requirements for packaging and food contact materials Professional and disciplinary leadership and further development of the quality management team at Gera Designing a powerful quality organization by promoting your employees, implementing the quality strategy and actively controlling change processes Support for process optimization and continuous improvement Close cooperation with production, technology, sales, research & development and international quality functions

Requirements profile: Successfully completed technical studies, ideally in the field of plastics, materials or process engineering, or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in quality management of a manufacturing company Experience in the plastics, film or packaging industry Knowledge of quality methods such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, CAPA or Six Sigma Experience in customer contact and audits and certification systems Analytical and solution-oriented operation Communication strength, enforcement capacity and hands-on mentality Good to very good German and English skills Standing for occasional missions
