Number: MER00040AP Together with our partners in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, we, the international CKD-Supply Chain for Mercedes-Benz Cars, i.e. the “Completely Knocked Down” shipment of vehicle kits to various foreign plants. As part of strategic projects, we develop holistic logistics concepts and adapt our logistics infrastructure to constantly changing conditions. These include the planning and implementation of new logistics centers in Germany and abroad, as well as the development and implementation of new delivery concepts for our CKD plants overseas. We also ensure that our global CKD-Supply Chain becomes even more powerful and efficient. To this end, we write logistics services with high strategic relevance, which enable the cost-optimal operation of the consolidation centers in our global network. In addition, we analyze the global supply chain costs, predict them for future vehicle models and thereby support strategic and operational decision-making processes. We also develop packaging that meets the specific requirements of CKD shipping. We always work closely with our colleagues in the operating teams that control the daily supply of CKD plants with production material. We are looking for active student support for our team. During your internship, you actively participate in our diverse planning tasks and take part in our dynamic project environment. You will be assisted by an experienced employee who will work on you, assist you with advice and action and provide you with regular feedback.
