Head of Business Administration (m/w/d)

As Head of Purchasing & Work Preparation (m/w/d), you take a central role in our company. You ensure that material availability, procurement and internal processes are optimally matched to each other – and thus create the basis for a smooth production process: Responsibility for strategic and operational purchasing Ensuring scheduled material procurement Selection, support and further development of suppliers Price and contract negotiations with national and international partners Optimization of purchasing processes and procurement strategies Responsibility for work preparation Planning, control and optimization of workflows in preparation Close coordination with design, production and other areas Monitoring of delivery dates, stocks and flows of materials In doing so, you combine technical understanding, commercial thinking and organizational skills – with a lot of design space and self-responsibility.

Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further training in the field of purchasing, material management, mechanical engineering or comparable qualifications Professional experience in purchasing, working preparation or in a comparable position Experience in the technical or industrial environment Reading of production drawings Management experience is not required Good knowledge of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Negotiating skills and entrepreneurial thinking and action Communication strength and team capacity Safe appearance and organizational ability Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
