For the EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG at the Hamburg site, we are looking for a trader (m/w/d) international dairy products/ Global Dairy Procurement at the next possible time.

Your duties

As a trader (m/w/d), you can expect exciting tasks and diverse challenges. You have the chance to develop sustainable purchasing strategies with your ideas and take responsibility for central processes in raw materials management.

• In your role, you analyze international commodity markets for dairy products, identify trends and guide forecasts
• In addition, you develop international sourcing and shopping strategies and implement them with the shopping teams
• With your expertise, our buyers advise you:inside to potentials and risks
• Through your analytical approach, you create transparency along the global value chain, identify potential savings and effectively implement optimization measures
• Last but not least, bundle requirements of raw materials and conduct selective negotiations with suppliers

Your profile

• They have successfully completed their studies in the fields of agriculture, economics and a comparable subject area
• Multiannual professional experience in the field of commodity trade, analysis or purchase of dairy products is desirable
• Your affinity for data and your pronounced analytical way of thinking allow you to identify even challenging relationships and derive practical solutions
• Entrepreneurial thinking, joy of innovation and a strong targeting characterize your working methods and make you a driver of sustainable optimization processes
• Due to your well-founded MS Office knowledge and outstanding communication skills, you are well prepared to move safely in a dynamic and international environment
