In your function, you will focus on the physical and mathematical modeling of target objects, environment, atmosphere and search heads in different spectral ranges, especially the infrared range. The validation of models and associated software based on analytical comparative calculations and measurement data is also part of your task spectrum. In addition, you are responsible for the software engineering conversion of algorithms and models for further use in analogue chains. The creation of application-related simulation software with physical and mathematical backgrounds completes your many tasks.

The ideal precondition for this position is a completed study with outstanding achievements and excellent knowledge. In addition, you have good IT skills (especially Linux) as well as deeper knowledge in at least one programming language (preferably C++ or Rust, also MATLAB or Python).
