My client is an internationally active renewable energy company focusing on the development, financing and implementation of wind and solar projects. The company accompanies projects along the entire value chain - from planning to operation.

Responsibility for and monitoring the accounting processes of all Group companies, including proper accounting, voting and timely monthly, quarterly and annual accounts Total responsibility for the preparation and testing of annual financial statements according to HGB, as well as support in Group Reporting and ensuring the readiness to audit at any time Responsibility for all tax-relevant issues in accounting across different countries in close cooperation with external tax advisors (e.g. sales tax, corporation tax, transfer pricing and local reporting obligations) Head of all audit processes and central auditors response, including coordination, timely provision of documents and high-quality response to requests Implementation of intercompany accounting within the group, including voting, relocations, elimination and the establishment of robust processes for cross-border transactions Continuous improvement of accounting policies, internal control systems, final processes and documentation standards to ensure scalability, accuracy and compliance Close cooperation with external accounting service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure local compliance requirements while maintaining Group-wide uniform processes and reporting standards Support the entire finance function for budget planning, liquidity planning, financing, due diligence processes and other strategic projects

completed commercial training or studies in Accounting, Finance, Taxes or a related field; Qualifications such as tax professionals, account holders, tax advisors or comparable training are of advantage Detectable, well-founded professional experience in Accounting, Taxing and Audit, ideally both in a tax consultancy or audit as well as in an in-house financial function Outstanding sense of responsibility (Ownership) as well as the ability to independently control the entire accounting agenda across several companies and stakeholders Very good knowledge of HGB as well as a thorough understanding of tax and audit-related requirements in Germany are required Experience with international structures and IFRS is an advantage Detectable experience in dealing with intercompany transactions and accounting across several legal units and countries Very good oral and written communication skills in English and German; reliable knowledge of German is required Very good knowledge in Excel as well as relevant accounting and ERP systems
