Social Education Specialist in the Regional Social Service of the Youth Office (m/w/d)

The Youth Office of the Kreis Siegen-Wittgenstein employs around 150 employees in five different fields. More than 60 colleagues are involved in the RSD, the largest area of the Youth Office. Be part of this open-minded, motivated and collegial team.

Your tasks • Support and advice in the exercise of personal care, educational advice • Participation in proceedings before the family court • Granting and controlling assistance for education, integration aid and assistance for young full-year children under the SGB VIII • Granting and controlling further support services of SGB VIII • the performance of tasks of child protection pursuant to § 8a SGB VIII and the implementation of inobservations pursuant to § 42 SGB VIII

Availability is • a completed university degree in Social Work, Social Education or a comparable Bachelor's degree • strong social competence in dealing with people in different situations of life • an appreciation, respectful and empathic approach to children, young people, parents and cooperation partners • the ability to trust, structured and solution-oriented cooperation in the team • a high degree of resilience, reliability and sense of responsibility for work in a challenging task area • Communication and conflictability • Class B driving licence and the willingness to use own motor vehicle against the cost of travel for service trips
