The city of Celle is currently a 13 day nursery institution that provides facilities distributed throughout the city. Here, children in all ages - from crib to schooling - are supervised in different group structures and with different educational concepts, including several integration groups. With us, the protection order is being raised, which has a value-adding participation education and culture as a basis. In this context, each urban nursery institution develops its educational concept independently and implements it.

Your main tasks are:

• Education, education and guidance of children in different situations of life
• Support for a holistic development of children based on their needs and interests
• Design of relationships, educational processes and projects
• Support and advice of families in individual situations
• Observation and documentation of educational and development processes
• Active participation in the educational development of the institution
• Reflection of your own pedagogical action in the team context

This is what we need: Compulsory conditions are:

The formal prerequisite for a successful application is a completed training or a completed study for

• state-approved educators (d/m/w) or
• state-approved social education (d/m/w) or
• childhood education (d/m/w) or
• medical education (d/m/w) or
• Healing nurse (d/m/w) or
• Social pedagogue (d/m/w) without state recognition, which was employed as an educational force on 31.07.2021.

Persons who have completed an educational university degree with studies of 80 credit points aimed at working with children in day-to-day facilities for children can also apply as an educational specialist (d/m/w) and who have at least one year relevant professional experience.

The ability to communicate in German at the language level B 2 (GER) is assumed. The required level of language is recognised for persons with a German-speaking school degree/an German-speaking university qualification or a German-speaking training degree/graduate degree. In the case of a foreign degree, a German language diploma or German certificate required as proof.

Also desirable are:

• Knowledge of elementary pedagogical relationship and education
• Intercultural responsibility and expertise on diversity-sensitive pedagogy
• Communication strength and cooperation willingness
• Relevant and resource-oriented basic attitude towards children, caregivers and employees
• Organisational capacity
• Reliability and sense of responsibility

• Generally permanent full-time and part-time jobs of 24 to 39 hours per week in a modern city administration. Part-time work is done on condition that afternoon and evening services can be covered.
• Collective payment according to the S 8a TVöD payment group, which varies between 3.509 Euro and 4.668 Euro gross monthly, depending on individual experience at the beginning of employment.
• A monthly allowance of 130 euros with the possibility of converting into up to two free days
