Your new career You become part of the AP Sensing “we” and immerse yourself in a fascinating world: Together we bring measurement technology to the limits of physics. We use fiber optic cables as sensors and build measuring instruments and software that measure temperatures and acoustic signals along the fiber to the exact meter.

As part of the firmware team, you work closely with the hardware team to integrate and debugging all our hardware software interfaces. Hardware software system integration and error analysis in complex instruments under Linux. Develop software in modern C++ for our on-device microcontrollers. Some low-level programming of electronic and optoelectronic assemblies in Python and FPGA modules in VHDL Optional Linux kernel/Userspace driver development

You have a degree in technical computer science or a comparable discipline. You have professional experience in hardware-related software development. You have proven Linux, C++ and Python knowledge. You have experience with VHDL. You have experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and hardware interfaces such as JTAG, I2C and SPI. You are familiar with AMD (Xilinx) FPGAs and Vivado. Knowledge of the development of Linux kernel modules is always welcome. You have German knowledge at least on level B1.
