Strategic Supplier Selection: As a Strategic Purchasing Manager (gn), you are responsible for the strategic selection of suppliers in cooperation with the Sourcing Office and supports the Group Sales Management in the search, assessment, selection and onboarding of suitable suppliers. Market, supply and inventory analyses: You will explore the global procurement market and conduct analyses of market and price developments as well as comparisons of offers - data-driven, efficient and with the clear goal of identifying the best sources in the world for HORNBACH. Process monitoring: In addition to complying with compliance and CSR policies as well as legal provisions, you are also responsible for coordinating all interfaces to ensure delivery readiness and optimal inventory in the HORNBACH Global Warehouse. Global Sourcing: Last but not least, you organize and conduct kick-off meetings and participate in assortment conferences, fairs and sourcing trips.

Qualification: You have successfully completed your (company) economic studies or a commercial training and have a well-founded trade and industry knowledge. Shopping expert: As an experienced specialist in purchasing, you have very good product range knowledge and are safe to negotiate with suppliers in German and English. Know-how: You are familiar with the areas of compliance, CSR and relevant legal requirements and are redirected with the current M365 applications. Knowledge of SAP and DWH systems is advantageous.
