Coding Specialist / Documentation Assistant (allgenders) - Central Emergency Room

The UKE's Central Emergency Recording (ZNA) combines a total of 20 medical disciplines. Over 18,000 stationary and 46,000 outpatient emergencies are treated annually. The primary encoding of medical and other medical diagnosis, treatments, medications and nursing services, if necessary in coordination with the doctors: you are directly involved in our success. Your future activities include: Optimization of proceeds by: Case check based on file with respect to plausibility and completeness Case meetings for the definition of diagnosis for coding Selection of alternative diagnoses for encoding, in consultation with med. Information on faulty or incomplete documentation of medical and nursing staff Error analyses and clarification of deviations

Communication with medical controlling Notification of missing proofs of performance, findings, medical letters and incorrect or incomplete documentation Processing of MD and health insurance requests in cooperation with the doctor:inside Implementation of the reception in consultation with the attending doctors: in cooperation.

Completed vocational training for:medical documentation assistant:in or equivalent skills and experience, e.g. in health and nursing, in combination with a further training for clinical/medical codier professional (codier subject course) Long-term professional experience in nursing Required knowledge in SAP and MyMedis Ideally with experience in coding in the field of emergency reception Good German knowledge Co-operation, communication and coordination capacity, sense of responsibility, self-employment and a quick understanding
