Since 1999, the Städtische Eigenbetrieb Disabledhilfe (SEB) has been supporting children, young people and adults with and without impairments within the scope of diverse offers. These include different housing and care services, an outpatient care service, integrative and complex children's daycare facilities, health education horte as well as various support and advice centres in Leipzig.

The Complex-Kita “Um die Welt”

Children, families and employees come together in the inclusive complex-children's day-care centre "Um die Welt". Accompanied by a professional and competent Kita team, all find plenty of space to play, discover and grow. In order to ensure that inclusion is self-evident among the youngest, we serve as a complex-kite children with and without hindrance.

• Through your loving and sensitive accompaniment and promotion of the children entrusted to us, you help us to feel comfortable and secure.
• They support them in their individual development and enable them to experience new experiences playfully.
• They recognize competences, development possibilities and needs of children, accept them and promote their personal strengths.
• They evaluate, plan and conduct projects and reflect on them.
• They capture the living conditions of the supervised children and work confidently and at eye level with their parents to establish a value-adding and targeted educational partnership.
• They document development and education processes.
• They create and maintain cooperation structures with other institutions and partners of the community.

What you should bring:

• A degree as a state-recognized educator (m/w/d) with additional curative qualification, state-recognized curative caregiver (m/w/d) or you can provide another completed training which, according to VwVBeh, is entitled to work in a health education nursery.
• A loving kindness and joy in the care and support of our children.
• The internalization of the concept of inclusion or the readiness to acquire necessary knowledge in this field.
• They are open to new challenges and are sensitive and without prejudice to situations and references of children.
• Interest in regular professional development.
