Your duties Ensure reliable, efficient and highly available operation of electrical, mechanical and fire protection and safety equipment in the data center. Control operation: Response daily plant operation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and response to technical emergencies. Be the central contact person: Coordinate the technical data center operation, internal teams and external service providers. Edit escalations and report operational disruptions within the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA). School and support the team: accompany the engineering team during operation and troubleshooting. Organize practical exercises on diesel emergency power units, switching systems, uninterrupted power supplies (USV), power distribution units (PDU), ventilation units (AHU) and refrigeration machines. Design technical projects: support planning and development of new data centers. Guide cross-site projects from conception to completion and coordinate engineering, automation, purchasing and finance. Keep costs and dates in mind: Define milestones, get offers, follow costs and document project results for implementation at other data center locations. Analyzing and Improving: Investing system failures systematically, developing innovative solutions and uniform operating standards for technical teams and service providers. Increase reliability and reduce operating costs. Ensure that employees and external service providers comply with all safety procedures and safety requirements. Your profile Qualification: Complete Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Technical know-how: knowledge of critical systems, such as data centers, hospitals, power plants or military facilities. Operational and project experience: Ideally experience in operation and reputation for data centers or comparable operationally critical systems as well as in project management. Self-responsibility and flexibility: independent working and willingness to support outside regular working hours in the event of technical emergencies. Language knowledge: flowing English in word and writing, including safe reading.
