Apprenticeship - Plant Mechanic 2026 August/September (m/f/d)

As an apprentice to the plant mechanic (m/w/d), we will first teach you the basic skills of metalworking in our training workshop. For example, you learn to cut and bend sheet metal and pipes, to turn and mill, to wedge or to engraving. Later, we prepare you for missions at our construction sites. You come to our trainers and teams on the premises of the customer and work for example at the production plant for candy. In addition to welding, it is about the assembly and disassembly of components and assemblies to large installations. During training we want to get to know you as much different as possible. In the meantime, you come back to the training workshop with your training college again and again to work together to develop the learning areas of the vocational school – or to learn special topics such as welding by different methods. The exam preparation also takes place in our training workshop. To the middle of the training, you can choose between the focuses on pipe system technology and welding. The training lasts 3.5 years. Teaching at the vocational school 13 in Wilhelmsburg takes place in block lessons.
