The Sana Klinikum Lichtenberg in the sponsorship of the Sana Kliniken Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH is an academic teaching hospital of Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin and a hospital with a focus on 661 beds. It has an emergency room, the Departments of Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology, Cardiology and Geriatry), General and Visceral Surgery, Orthopaedics, Trauma, Hand and Restoration Surgery, Women's Medicine and Obstetrics, Breast Center, Anesthesiology and Intensive Medicine, Child Surgery, Children's and Youth Medicine, Institute of Pathology and Institute of Radiology.

Advice and training of patients and their relatives on all issues related to diabetes mellitus, including nutrition, medication and lifestyle changes cross-disciplinary support in adult diabetes Development of individual therapy plans in cooperation with doctors, nutritional advisers and other professionals Training and workshops on prevention and self-management in diabetes Continuous care of patients, including blood sugar control and adaptation of therapy Documentation and evaluation of counselling and patient data

Complete training as a diabetes counselor (DDG) or comparable qualification Professional experience in advising and supporting diabetes patients, preferably in a clinical environment Knowledge of diabetes therapy, especially in insulin therapy and modern technologies such as CGM systems Empathy, communication strength and joy in working with patients Teamability and the willingness to interdisciplinary cooperation Self-employed and structured work
