In this position you are responsible for the successful implementation of the project, from the acquisition to the acceptance of the customer, always keeping in mind dates, quality and costs Your main tasks include the overall responsibility for creating offers, contract documents and technical reports and documentation in German and English. You analyse and define technical requirements, create specifications, performance descriptions, load specifications, volume frameworks and acceptance criteria in close cooperation with specialist departments and external partners You prepare project presentations, moderate national and international negotiations and meetings and ensure smooth communication between all project participants In doing so, you coordinate internal specialist departments as well as external interfaces, including subcontractors, and report regularly to overriding bodies In your role, clarify and evaluate technical issues, develop strategies for the further development of technical processes and develop policy templates for strategic decisions You are responsible for monitoring compliance with technical project objectives and contractual implementation, identify risks early and initiate appropriate measures In addition, you support the technical development and analysis of complex overall systems, give expert guidance and support to project staff You also take over the Claim Management by assessing deviations and changes and their economic consequences You ensure compliance with internal standards and guidelines and, through your strategic and operational work, make a significant contribution to the success of international Leopard 2 projects

You have a successfully completed degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification You also have several years of professional experience in national and international project management Project management certifications would be a plus military training, ideally in military procurement, is advantageous You have a high readiness to travel both nationally and internationally The application of Jira, Confluence and MS Project is not a challenge for you Your independent, conscientious and reliable operation, combined with enforcing capability and team capability, will distinguish you In addition, you control the current MS Office applications in particular Excel and Power Point Furthermore, you have secure knowledge in the ERP system SAP Very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing are required
