This future offers numerous challenges with demanding goals not only for the safety of our customers, but also for road safety in general. Our customers have high expectations of the safety of today's and future Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. The safety of accidents and their continuous and innovative development by Mercedes-Benz is not always recognizable and comprehensible at first glance and therefore requires understandable communication in the public. We are also responsible for communication for the Mercedes-Benz car accident research in order to represent the brand core value of vehicle safety with regard to passive safety issues internally and externally. As a working student in the field of accident research, our team supports you in a variety of tasks that are at the interface between vehicle development, press communication and marketing. Your main tasks are: With the help of the planning, organisation and execution of a Mercedes-Benz Rescue Exchange event with the participation of firefighters, rescue services and accident research

Support for Mercedes-Benz accident research in everyday organizational tasks such as research on accidents or planning work and preparation of vehicle investigations

Cooperation in the development of strategies and concepts for the communication of safety issues, in particular in the field of accident safety

Creation and targeted processing of presentation documents and communication materials for internal and external target groups (press, social media, end customers, specialist, VIP visitors)

Support in the design, implementation and creation of exhibits to illustrate safety topics (e.g. cutting bodies, crash vehicle exhibits)

Supporting the organisation and implementation of communication measures and marketing campaigns (e.g. Car to Car Crash, specialist events, SAFE ROADS)

Participation in the preparation of articles on accident research and accident safety topics for the external and internal communication of the group and department management (e.g. blogs, intranet articles)

Support in the preparation of accident data and research results for communication purposes

The activity can begin from August 2026.

Continuous studies in the field of communication sciences, media sciences, marketing, industrial engineering, vehicle technology, physics, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree course with interest in communication

Lecture-proof German and English knowledge in Word and Writing

Secure handling of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Basic knowledge of vehicle safety technology is advantageous

Experience in dealing with image and sound processing programs would be helpful

Embossed organizational skills, target and result orientation

High communication skills, team skills and intercultural sensitivity

Ability to work independently and flexibly

Convinced appearance and joy of interdisciplinary cooperation

High self-initiative and self-employment

Compulsory driving licence of class B

First experience in vehicle safety/ accident analysis is desirable
