The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a well-known aid organisation and a free, non-profit body of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees. The SOS Children's Village Prignitz offers a place of encounter and support for all people from the social area and especially for children, young people and parents. Our help from a single source includes children's day huts, early aids, educational advice centres, youth and school social work, a multi-generation house, a children's and youth campus centre and various stationary offers in the urban children's village. For our SOS Children's Village Prignitz, we are looking for an additional time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time or part-time (minimum 20 hours/day to max. 38.5 hours/Where.) As a pedagogical specialist, you accompany children and young people in their individual development and create a structured, stimulating environment. With empathy, creativeness and professional know-how, you can design everyday life with – the children and young people face school, social and personal challenges and at the same time ensure protection and stability. You have completed training as a state-recognized educator*in or a study of social education Ideally, you are already bringing experience in stationary youth assistance and understand the complex challenges in everyday life with children and adolescents With an open, facing and clear communication style, you encounter children, adolescents and parents on eye-catching Their attitude is characterized by genuine interest in individual life stories and the desire to develop sustainable solutions together Self-sufficient and targeted work, as well as your strengths as a reflected personality and ability to keep the humor even in stressful situations You enrich our team through their own ideas and experiences and implement new educational approaches in practice In the professional handling of spaces and distance, you act safe and situation-appropriate A class B licence will provide your mobile equipment in everyday work
