Working Student in the Technical Division

You are involved in the co-design of the unit's super-depths and sohlsicherung. In addition, you are responsible for compiling and testing inventory documents with regard to existing depths. You support building a digital geo platform as well as building a monitoring to monitor individual colonies from quay walls. You also conduct literature and document research on the topic of Sohlsicherung, visualize tasks and work with various software (e.g. GIS). Your area of responsibility is rounded off by the creation of Excel tables, the development of ideas in the direction of digitalization/laying structure and co-design at internal and external lectures and workshops.

You are studying in one of the three following or similar courses: Civil Engineering, Geography, Geosciences or Mechanical Engineering (in the 3rd semester or more advanced). Good IT skills (MS-Office, GIS) are already being brought along. First practical experiences in the form of internships or student activities you could already gain. You are interested in static relationships and constructive water construction. You are reliable, motivated and flexible. Structured and self-responsive work characterizes you. You also like to introduce your own ideas.
