Group Accounting & Outsourcing Manager (m|w|d) | Division CV Job ID 76063 | Location Heidenheim Your duties In your role, you are responsible for managing relationships with external accounting service providers to ensure the provision of high-quality services. In addition, you play a central role in accounting-related topics and act as an interface between the accounting service provider, the management of accounting and regional financial managers. Ensuring that all accounting practices comply with the relevant regulations and standards, as well as oversight of the preparation of financial reports, are also part of your task. In addition, you are responsible for the production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for Germany, Austria and Poland (EMEA 1) and act as the main partner for internal stakeholders (e.g. controlling). You are responsible for cooperation with the controlling for the efficient organisation of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, by monitoring the timely delivery of the reporting packages. You shall ensure compliance with IFRSs, provide adjustments to the Group, identify process improvements and monitor the performance and budget of outsourced accounting services to ensure service level and cost efficiency. The supervision and management of departmental projects, such as process improvements focusing on consolidation as well as monitoring the delivery of reporting packages for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting round off your area of responsibility. Your profile You have a Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting, Finance or a comparable field. Ideally you bring knowledge to CPA, CMA or ACCA. You also have 3-5 years of experience in accounting/finance, preferably in an auditing company or in the consolidation/booking department of an international company. Experience in the management of projects and/or with service providers will help you. We require a secure handling of accounting/consolidation software (e.g. SAP R3, Navision, Konsis), financial planning tools (TM1), MS Office and knowledge in IFRS and German GAAP. We require very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing; further language skills are advantageous. Your profile is rounded off by your pronounced, analytical and problem-solving skills as well as your excellent communication skills.
