As part of this permanent part-time job (20 to 30 hours/week) you are a pedagogical specialist in our care department at the Wilhelm-Hoegner-Haus in Kitzingen. As an educational specialist, you take over the social-psychiatric accompaniment and care of the people in need of care and thus complement the nursing team. Their focus is on psychosocial support, the promotion of self-determination and participation as well as stabilisation in everyday life. Your tasks include: social psychiatric support: building sustainable relationships as well as individual psychosocial support Promoting everyday management: maintaining existing skills and support in social participation Daily structuring: Planning and implementing meaningful employment, leisure and contact offers Crisis support: early detection of mental crises, deescalation and accompaniment in exceptional situations With this specially designed interface function, you contribute to supplementing the nursing care with a qualified social-psychological care and to sustainably promote the quality of life of the residents. You have a successfully completed study of social work or a comparable subject or an education for the curative caregiver.
