The City of Menden (Sauerland) is looking for an emergency medical officer (m/w/d) for use in the rescue service of the fire and rescue station.

The fire and rescue station of the city of Menden (Sauerland) has two ambulances and an emergency medical emergency vehicle, which are held “around the clock” and another ambulance in the daily service, which is occupied as part of a foreign assignment.

The recruitment is carried out as part of an indefinite employment. It is basically a full-time job (48 hours per week). Alternatively, parttime employment is possible in a job sharing (each 24 hours per week).

The area of responsibility includes:

• Use in the rescue service of the city of Menden (Sauerland)
• medical care, care and transport of emergency and emergency patients
• Participation in technical training
• Performance of tasks in the field of rescue service in the daily watch
• Implementation of quality-assurance measures and documentation

Extensions and changes to the subject area are expressly reserved.

You bring with:

• a completed training to the emergency medical officer (m/w/d) in accordance with the provisions of the Emergency Sanitary Act (NotSanG) and the Training and Examination Regulation for emergency medical technicians (NotSan-APrV)
• a completed training for the rescue assistant (m/w/d) with successfully completed training for the emergency medical technician (m/w/d) as part of a supplementary examination according to § 32 Emergency Sanitary Act (NotSanG) as well as the Education and Examination Regulation for Emergency San-APrV
• Ownership of permission to conduct the professional designation of emergency suitors
• Compliance with health requirements according to the Infection Protection Act (including vaccination obligation against measles)
• physical and psychological aptitude for rescue services
• Driving license class C1
• a strong team, communication and conflictability
• Sensitivity in dealing with patients
