You take development tasks for software components for unmanned (automated and autonomous) systems in C++. You support the development of software specifications, software architectures, test procedures and software components including communication interfaces. As part of an agile and growing team, you develop new and existing components. In addition, you actively pursue trends in the “Artificial Intelligence” field, “Machine Learning”, as well as the “Autonomy” field and introduce new ideas. You support the processing of national and international research projects and work on the latest trends in maritime autonomy. You integrier and test your software on our test vehicles in our ATLAS lake.
You have a successfully completed study preferably of computer science, software engineering, computer science or mathematics. You are interested and may have gained experience in the field of “Autonomy”, “Guidance”, “Obstacle Avoidance” (2D/3D), SDF or similar topics in the context of AUVs. Understanding tool-assisted software development under common operating systems (Microsoft Windows, Linux) and the application of approaches to artificial intelligence (Neuronal Networks, Deep Learning, etc.) characterize you. You are passionate about modern software development: Clean Code and Software-Craftsmanship are familiar to you. As a developer::in you bring practical implementation capabilities in at least one high language and experience in the areas of design, testing, build(CMake) and/or continuous integration of software (CI) with - preferably with GitLab - and are able to use the tools with instructions if necessary.
