The Ambulante Hospiz and Palliativzentrum Neustadt an der Weinstraße (AHPZ) has been in existence since 2015. The facilities are supported by Marienhaus GmbH Waldbreitbach and the Caritasverband der Diözese Speyer. In the AHPZ, an experienced general team works in close interdisciplinary cooperation. This is complemented by more than 40 qualified volunteers, the patients and their relatives in the accompaniment at the end of their lives, in the work of the grief and in the grieving accompaniment. Together, we pursue an approach that combines medical, nursing, psychosocial and human aspects, taking into account the individual needs of those affected, as well as their family and social environment. Child and Youthpalliative care at AHPZ The AHPZ Neustadt has been continuously developing since the foundation of our children's palliative team in 2024. As part of the specialized outpatient palliative care (SAPV), we accompany children, young people and their families in the long term, reliably and lively – where You feel the most comfortable: in their familiar home. A multi-professional team of pediatricians, nurses and employees from the psychosocial field combines medical expertise with personal proximity and holistic accompaniment. Would you like to introduce your paediatric expertise and accompany your patients more personally and holistic? In the outpatient care of children and youthpalliatives you work away from the classical hospital everyday and accompany children and their families in their familiar home. You take responsibility, make medical decisions and design the care individually. You can immediately experience what your work can do for a child and his family – from symptom relief to support in crisis situations to support the family in a particularly challenging life phase. From symptom relief to the supply of acute crises to individual therapy planning: The medical expertise creates safety, quality of life and relief – precisely where it is needed. Area of application: The location is aimed at applicants from a radius of up to 50 km around Neustadt an der Weinstraße. These include Bad Dürkheim, Kaiserslautern, Kusel, Pirmasens, Landau, Germersheim, Frankenthal, Ludwigshafen am Rhein and Zweibrücken. Characteristics: The activity can be carried out independently of the location, with coordinated presence days on site in Neustadt on the Weinstraße.
