Position number: V000073452 What tasks do you expect from us? The responsibility for the construction, operation and continuous further development of highly available Kubernetes clusters in cloud environments, especially on AWS, is yours. Conception, development, automation and maintenance of infrastructure and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to ensure efficient software delivery is one of your core tasks. Cloud infrastructures manage, monitor and optimize with a clear focus on stability, scalability and performance. The planning and execution of load tests as well as the analysis and optimization of system performance to ensure maximum efficiency are your responsibility. The continuous cost optimisation of the infrastructure in the sense of FinOps principles is actively promoted. Robust backend services as well as automation solutions and scripts to increase efficiency are developed independently. Strategically you integrate modern AI technologies into existing development and infrastructure processes. You actively work on challenging 3D and rendering workflows based on the Unreal Engine. You work closely with development teams and advise them to continuously improve and further develop the platform architecture.

How do you fit into our team? You bring multi-year practically relevant experience (+5 years) in the field of cloud and platform engineering, preferably in an architectural role (m/w/d/x). In-depth practical knowledge of Kubernetes (deployment, operation, scaling) and the design of container orchestration strategies are the key to you. You have well-founded experience with AWS as well as the design and implementation of modern, scalable cloud architectures. You bring very good knowledge in the construction and operation of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions) and the automation of software delivery processes. Comprehensive experience in infrastructure as code, automation and scripting to manage complex infrastructures is natural for you. You have proven your programming experience in at least one of the following languages: Kotlin / Spring, Python, Go, Bash or C++. You have practical experience in the operation of highly scaling systems as well as in monitoring and performance tuning. You have a strong understanding of AI-based systems and their strategic integration into development processes. Through a structured, solution-oriented way of working, you draw your attention and find pragmatic and future-oriented solutions in dynamic situations. You are a team player and enjoy the close, collaborative cooperation with development teams and stakeholders. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing are of course for you.
