As a trusted contact person, you will consult the management, senior leadership and other areas of expertise in all compliance-relevant issues. You take responsibility for the adaptation, implementation and continuous further development of the compliance management system for Heraeus Covantics, taking into account the Heraeus compliance strategy. The transfer of Heraeus Compliance Policies to the special features of Heraeus Covantics and their implementation in the business areas is also part of your responsibility. You strengthen sustainable compliance culture and promote inclusive, responsible action and open Speak-up behavior throughout the company. By developing and coordinating compliance communication and training measures, you create awareness of compliance requirements and support an effective anchoring of compliance culture in the business areas. You support the Covantics departments, among others, with questions about gifts and invitations, business relationships with third parties, sponsoring, donations, and compliance risk analyses and third party due diligence processes. In case of internal investigations, audits, external certifications and compliance-relevant audits by authorities, customers and business partners, you assume a coordinating and supporting role. You drive forward the organisational development of the compliance function, develop the compliance network and take over the professional leadership and further development of the compliance organization. Finally, establish a risk-based monitoring and controlling concept, develop meaningful key figures and manage compliance reporting as well as continuous improvement of compliance structures and processes.

Complete study of law, economic law, economics, compliance or a comparable subject. More than seven years of professional experience in an operational legal or compliance function, ideally in an internationally active company or group. Knowledge of corruption and fraud prevention, conflicts of interest, money laundering prevention and supply chain compliance. Experience in the implementation and further development of compliance management systems as well as in risk analyses, third-party due diligence, internal investigations and audits. Secure appearance and strong communication skills in managing management, senior management and different stakeholders. High integrity, conscientiousness, discretion, enforcement and self-initiative. Experience in cooperation with international teams and different cultural backgrounds. German and English knowledge in word and writing.
