IT Security Engineer (m/w/d) Full-time, unlimited, Wiesloch bei Heidelberg, IT, MLP Finanzberatung SE, to occupy

MLP is the partner in all financial matters. Our goal is to create secure, efficient and digital customer experiences – from innovative advice to specialised specialist applications for our sales. In our IT, which includes around 100 people, you will play a central role in all aspects of IT security together with a dedicated team. You are instrumental in continuously developing our security level, detecting risks early on and protecting our IT systems sustainably.

Supporting projects and changes: You support from conception to implementation to test and operating phase Incident Response & Analysis: You identify, analyze and classify IT security incidents, test log files – including tools such as Splunk – and coordinate the fixation together with internal teams and external partners Further development with Impact: You are responsible for maintaining, optimizing and developing IT security levels Continuous Analysis: Together with your team and external partners, you always have the threat in the environment of IT security in mind Voting with stakeholders: You work closely with internal stakeholders, especially within IT, with data protection and the information security officer

Qualification: You have a degree in (economic) informatics, cybersecurity or a comparable qualification Experience & expertise: You bring multi-year experience in the field of IT security and/or information security and know yourself in client/server architectures, networks and IT security systems. The relevant standards and standards (e.g. DIN EN ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, GDPR) are fundamentally familiar to you Technical knowledge: Long Linux distributions like Red Hat and Debian are known to you. Ideally, you have first experience in the cloud environment as well as Docker and Kubernetes with different cloud providers Use of tools: Nessus, Burp, nmap and Kali are not foreign words for you and may be part of your everyday workday today Working methods: You always work in a solution-oriented manner and want to actively take responsibility in a strong team Communication skills: You speak fluently German and convince with pronounced communication skills
