The Niedersächsische Landesbehörde für Strassenbau und Verkehr is responsible, among other things, for the construction and maintenance of federal and regional roads in Lower Saxony and for the circular roads of different counties. It employs around 2,900 employees. Your technical qualification: Officials (w/m/d) must have the capacity for the 2nd entry office of category 2, technical services, FB street management. Employees (w/m/d) must have a completed academic degree (Master or univ. Diploma) of civil engineering, transport engineering or economic engineering with the degree of civil engineering or transport, or have an equivalent degree of similar comparable fields of study/engineering. Knowledge of design planning and road law is required. Knowledge of spatial and environmental planning, project management and experience in participation procedures are required. Multiannual professional experience in the field of tasks is advantageous. Leadership experiences are advantageous. Knowledge of federal and state budgetary law and administrative knowledge are desirable. Your personal qualification: Good oral and written communication skills, especially in the discussion and moderation techniques, are required. Enforcement and negotiation skills are required. Equality competence is required. Ability to conceptual and strategic work is required. The ability to communicate even more complex relationships with different stakeholders is necessary. Extensive understanding of operational processes (process-oriented thinking) is advantageous.
