Then become part of our team, support us in the field of external affairs from September 2026 and actively shape the company's political affairs. The External Affairs (EA) division of Mercedes-Benz Group AG strives for sustainable growth through the establishment and maintenance of good relations with governments and stakeholders in our key markets. EA bundles the company's global external representation and supports all business areas in the development of growth initiatives by lobbying with governments and stakeholders. The internship takes place at the headquarters in Stuttgart Untertürkheim. The exact start time is determined jointly within the framework of the setting process. An internship period of 6 months is preferred. You are Prakikant*in in the staff of the Head of External Affairs and thus directly involved in current processes of the area. These challenges include: appointment coordination, among others, with board participation including preparation and preparation for the Head of External Affairs

Preparation of presentations and briefings for the management of External Affairs and the departments

Creation and coordination of presentations and briefings, among others for the Executive Board of the Mercedes-Benz Group

Processing and preparation of current policy topics for lectures and events

Studies in the field of international relations, political science, economics, law, business administration, international management, economic engineering, business informatics or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office, knowledge of usage

Comprehensive interest in the policy and economy interface as well as in political issues

Knowledge of political affairs nationally and internationally

Knowledge / interest in the legislative processes relevant to the automotive industry
