Materials Handling Manager (m/f/d)

For our location in Weilburg, we are looking for an experienced management personality as a material handling manager (w/m/d). You assume the overall responsibility for our warehouse and warehouse area and ensure efficient, safe and sustainable logistics processes. You organize and control the entire warehouse operation – from stock receipt, storage and inventory via commissioning to shipping – and coordinate internal and external storage areas. You ensure a smooth, uninterrupted and timely flow of material and monitor all relevant processes. You are responsible for inventory management, carry out inventory management and agree closely with production, purchasing and logistics to ensure material availability. You actively contribute to the further development of the production logistics concept and ensure the complete supply of production. You lead, plan and develop your team in stock, provide clear communication and conduct regular employee talks. You ensure compliance and further development of quality, safety and lean standards (including CVP, 5S). You manage and maintain the equipment in the warehouse, including forklift trucks, industrial trucks, lift trucks, tools and other logistics equipment. You analyze key figures, identify optimization potentials and increase efficiency, including through targeted use of warehouse technology and software. You act as a central interface to internal areas of expertise, coordinate external players and are the first respondent. You work in international projects for process optimization, the introduction of new IT applications and the planning of a new logistics building and take part in responsibility.

Complete training or studies in the field of logistics, supply chain, business management or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in logistics and Warehouse environment, ideally in a production company. Detectional leadership experience as well as pronounced communication and enforcement capability. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Very good MS Office knowledge, especially Excel. Good SAP know-how in the area of warehouse/material management are advantageous. Experience in project management and pleasure in process optimization and international cooperation. Quick conception, high flexibility and a structured, solution-oriented way of working.
