In the role as Senior Architecture Consultant, the applicant is responsible for the planning and development of complex IT infrastructures that meet the customer's economic and technical requirements while being scalable, safe and efficient. The role includes strategic decisions on topologies, technology selection and all-important architectural approaches. Furthermore, a certain distributive judgment and competence is advantageous. The Senior Architecture Consultant has the task to act as a 'Trusted Advisor' for customers and sales, to identify problems and to work independently. Tasks: Architectural consulting holistic in terms of infrastructure Conception of network infrastructures (LAN, WLAN, data center networks, WAN and cloud networks). Analysis and optimization of existing networks to improve performance and safety. Ensuring network security through firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS and other protection measures. Integration of new technologies and cooperation with IT teams, developers and external partners. Documentation of network topology, creation of guidelines and standards. Troubleshooting and problem solving in complex network disorders. Training customers for network architecture and best practices. Pre /- Post-Sales Consulting

Complete studies in computer science, information technology or comparable qualifications. 10+ years of network experience - IT infrastructures Funded knowledge in SDN, SDDC, routing, switching, network security. Experience with Cisco, HP-Aruba, Arista or comparable technologies. Knowledge of cloud networks (AWS, Azure) and virtualization. Knowledge in the open source environment Embossed problem solving capabilities and analytical thinking. Wide IT knowledge, basic understanding for other IT core areas such as Compute, Storage, Backup, Containering both On-Prem and Private/Public Cloud Good communication (German & English) and team skills.
