Civil engineer, site development & permitting management (m/f/d)

We grow – and with us our locations grow. For the development and further development of our production and logistics sites, we are looking for an experienced civil engineer location development & approval management (m/w/d), who drives engineering topics autonomously and takes responsibility from the first idea to the permitable and implementable solution. We expressly do not seek a classic project coordinator who controls exclusively external planners. We want to build more in-house engineering competence. You should be able to plan, judge and develop solutions – and use external architects, specialist planners and service providers in a targeted manner where You are actually needed. Your tasks You assume the technical responsibility for the development, conversion and further development of our production and logistics sites. Planning and development You develop structural solutions for new, re- and extension measures at our locations. You check the feasibility of new requirements and develop concrete implementation concepts. You create and independently process floor plans, maps, sketches and technical drawings. You evaluate existing buildings and areas with regard to possible modifications, extensions and usage changes. You combine technical, economic and regulatory requirements and develop pragmatic solutions. Approvals & Authorities Management You are our central contact for structural and licensing issues. You communicate independently with municipalities, construction offices and other competent authorities. You clarify the ability to approve planned measures and identify possible obstacles at an early stage. You prepare required approval documents before or coordinate their production. You control approval procedures and ensure that necessary approvals and approvals are available in time. You accompany topics such as construction applications, usage changes, fire protection requirements and other location-related approval procedures. Projecting & implementation You translate operational requirements from production and logistics into concrete structural measures. You create technical tasks and performance descriptions for external partners. You enter offers, evaluate them professionally and accompany the award. You tax architects, specialist planners, reviewers and executive companies if external support is required. You examine planning and services of external partners professionally and consistently represent our interests as a builder. You accompany projects during implementation and make sure that agreed quality, dates and requirements are met.

Your profile Completed studies in the field of civil engineering, architecture or comparable engineering qualification Multiannual practical experience in planning, designing or implementing construction and reconstruction measures – ideally in the context of production, industrial, commercial or logistics real estate Good knowledge of public building law and experience in building applications, licensing procedures and cooperation with authorities Ability to not only coordinate structural solutions, but to develop and evaluate them professionally. Safe handling of CAD or planning software and the willingness to create drawings and plan documents as needed Good technical understanding of adjacent topics such as fire protection, technical building equipment and infrastructure Experience in the management of architects, specialist planners, experts and executive companies Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Extensive sense of responsibility and the ability to bring together different internal and external stakeholders Safe and professional appearance towards authorities, municipalities and external partners

With us you are not only interface between company, architect and authority. You are our internal engineering competence for the development of our sites. We would like to be able to judge and promote many topics directly internally in the future. You will get plenty of design space and responsibility: from the first feasibility check to a separate planning sketch and the discussion with the building office to commissioning and monitoring the implementation.
