Where to pack • From the first day on it will be exciting for you, because you will directly become an active part of exciting projects in the areas of NLP, Computervision and many more. As an important part of the AI team, you are helping to develop our language recognition for doctors and the lesion classification (recognizing melanomas). • It will never be boring with us, because the complete pipeline of AI projects will be part of your task from data acquisition, preparation, model design to deployment. • In doing so, you will develop some things in your own way, others together in the team. In principle, we always learn from and with each other at zollsoft and go to your individual learning curve. With regular mentoring by experienced AI developers, we ensure that you arrive well in the team and can further develop according to your wishes. • But also off your own team, you will work closely with colleagues from other departments, such as support, product management or sales. The software development also works across teams, which is why you can watch and support colleagues with other focuses on work. • If you like, you can also take on additional tasks as a product manager for a specific product or project and look beyond the edge of the plate. • This position can be 100% exercised from the home office. So you don't have to live in Thuringia or the surrounding area to work with us, but you can determine when you want to work. • A part-time job is not a problem for us, but it would be ideal if you could spend at least 30 hours a week for us.

What you should bring • You have studied something technical or natural science and can be really proud of your outcome (a doctorate is also good for us). • You are thrilled with IT and can ideally gain first experience with machine learning, neural networks, deep learning or the like. • As an AI developer, it is an innermost need to write a clean and wartable code. • You don’t always think in one direction but are curious and courageous enough to walk unconventional ways. • As a human being, your interest and enthusiasm for new things are characterized, whether it is about mastering new programming languages, frameworks, tools or algorithms. • Ideally, you already bring good to very good Python skills and have first experience with Linux and Bash and know what the words Tensorflow, Pytorch or Scikit-learn stand for. • Your first experience with agentic software development (e.g. CLI-based AI programming via Claude Code / Codex) or in the area of Vibecoding can be applied practically to us. • In order to be able to get a grip on us, it is imperative that you master German at least on C1 level.
