For you as an optical designer (m/w/x), this means the opportunity to actively shape our product portfolio in flat hierarchies and to develop innovative solutions for our customers. Your role Design of different types of optical systems for classic and digital hunting and nature observation devices
Forecast of the system performance of optical systems in the built state taking into account optical and mechanical tolerances
Ghost and scattered light simulation of optical systems
Support in creating system specifications
Analysis and evaluation of optical system performance by means of technical measurement variables and their communication in discussions with internal, external and international partners
Regular communication with our international suppliers
Support of the adjacent areas Purchasing, Prototyping, etc.
Very good master or diploma degree in physics, optical engineering or a comparable degree course
Very good knowledge of physical and technical optics
Good knowledge of optical design software (e.g. Zemax / Optics Studio, Code V) and optical simulation software (e.g. FRED)
Experience in optical industry is beneficial
High level of creativity and independence
Very good communication and team skills
Excellent language skills in German and English
