For our clients, an international manufacturer/concert in the field of automation technology, we are currently looking for a:n team leader:in development in the Nuremberg area. The main tasks in this responsible role are the team management of the R&D team and the coordination of development projects in the field of industrial automation technology in close cooperation with internal and external partners.

Discipline management and further development of the interdisciplinary development team (six development engineers) focusing on automation and digitization Resource planning, allocation of tasks and objectives for the team and support for the employees in their technical development Coordination and management of development and innovation projects focusing on technological feasibility and economic efficiency Ensuring structured development processes across the entire product life cycle Identification of optimization potentials and continuous improvement of internal processes Close cooperation with product management, innovation teams and international locations in a travel activity of approx. 10%-20% Building and maintaining cooperation with external development partners to promote innovative technologies Close coordination and regular reporting to VP Engineering

Completed studies in Mechatronics Multiannual experience in the development of technical products, ideally in automation or industrial manufacturing Experience in managing larger projects or in technical project management Professional or disciplinary leadership experience Construction skills, as well as experience in the creation of technical drawings Ideally basic understanding or first contact points with Codesys and FEM simulations, as well as knowledge in flow or vibration mechanics. Ability to analyze complex technical relationships and develop innovative solutions Communication strength and ability to work efficiently with different departments and external partners Structured, result-oriented work and a high demand for quality and reliability Very good knowledge of German and English
