As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. As an expert in one or more cloud areas, such as virtualization, storage or containerization, you work with our powerful teams on the digital sovereignty of Germany.

Conception and design of pioneering architectures in an agile environment with challenging challenges in safety, stability and speed of innovation Responsibility for building blocks of our cloud strategy – from design to successful implementation and transfer to secure and stable operation Pre-thinking in the further development of operational, secure and sovereign cloud solutions Technological advice and responsibility for the creation of a range of services, interface between customers, experts and DevOps teams Result-oriented driving of feasibility studies and prototypes to validate architectural approaches Active part of our technical communities of interest

Successfully completed studies in computer science, engineering, natural sciences or comparable training with long-term professional experience At least 7 years of relevant professional experience as an IT architect for complex IT solutions with professional leadership responsibility, of which 3 or more in the cloud environment Expert knowledge in the use of comprehensive open source cloud solutions (OpenStack, CNCF landscape etc.) Long-standing expertise in the robust implementation of automation, virtualization (Compute, Storage, Network), monitoring and testing with cloud-native open-source components Experience in an IT environment with high security and resilience requirements such as public sector, finance, health or defence High level of enforcement, abstraction and consulting skills Experience in working with distributed teams in an agile environment by methods such as Scrum, Kanban, ITIL or SAFe Very good organizational ability and creativity and willingness to change German and good knowledge of English in word and writing
