Senior Software Developer (x|f|m) SCADA Connectivity

For Biobrain Supervise we are looking for a Senior Software Developer (x|w|m) SCADA Connectivity for Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this central role, you shape the connectivity of our SCADA solution and drive its scaling to a new level. Not only are you active in software development, but you work closely with different laboratory environments, get to know a wide range of devices and integrate them into our system landscape. At the same time, you take over the technical leadership for the SCADA Connectivity area and shape its further development sustainably.

The job is to be filled in full-time with a 40h week and as locations are Göttingen or Guxhagen (at Kassel).

You develop and streamline the Southbound Connectivity of our SCADA solution, allowing seamless connection of internal and external devices The use of advanced SCADA functionalities (e.g. soft sensors, calculations, recipe control, orchestration) will drive you forward actively and bring them across a growing instrument base.

You recognize integration gaps on device, configuration and protocol levels early and close them both conceptually and hands-on in the implementation

You analyze internal and external installations in which third-party solutions or workarounds are used, and convert them into loadable, standardized concepts and solutions

Solutions for the implementation and integration of Plug & Produce / Plug & Play concepts and standards

Integration concepts and requirements are translated into clear work packages for development teams

Depending on the design, d u work independently or take over the professional leadership of a small team to implement the topics

A completed degree in engineering, in computer science or a comparable qualification You have several years of experience in the SCADA or DCS environment

Very good knowledge of .NET development you bring

Knowledge of industrial communication standards such as OPC UA, field buses, industrial Ethernet and REST-based interfaces is available

Experience in the field of Secure Communication you could already collect

A very good understanding of semantic plug & play completes your profile

Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards such as GAMP and ISA 88 are advantageous

You have experience in technical project management and in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams

Agile working methods (Scrum, SAFe) are familiar or of interest to you
