At our state-of-the-art neonatological intensive care unit C.218 at the UKSH Campus Kiel, you work at a unique workplace directly at the village. In the heart of our parent-child-centre (ElKi) you will accompany early and risk newborns and provide them with a specialized team with optimal care.

Our station is friendly and spacious, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and close to the Kreißsaal and the Intermediate Care unit. They benefit from the cooperation with specialists from various disciplines, including child cardiology, neurology and surgery. A structured incorporation concept awaits you, which facilitates your entry into professional careers.

We offer you:

• Grouping up to the KR9 TV-L (with specialist training), in the event of compliance with the tariff conditions

• Replacement allowances, annual special payments and flexibility allowances

• 30 days of holiday and the possibility of up to 9 additional holidays with a regular shift (full time)

• Full-time employment, plus 38.5 hours/week; parttime work may be compatible with certain working time models

This is what awaits you:

• Intensive medical treatment, also of extremely unripe FG (approximately 50 FG < 1500g per year) and risk newborns with different illnesses

• Development-promoting care and infant handling

• Recordings and laying from/in external clinics with baby-NAW

• Neonatological parental advice and establishment of a women's milk bank

• An individual training concept for the needs of professional starters

Take this with you:

• A completed training as a health and child caregiver / health and child caregiver, or Nurse / Nurse nurse or nursing specialist with specialisation

• Ideally a completed intensive professional training pediatric / IMC course or the willingness to acquire it

• Organizational design and readiness for the 3-layer system incl. Call service

• Interest in training and further development
