As an important player within the largest authority in Germany, the IT system house is responsible from the Nuremberg site for 100 IT procedures, three data centers, a separate cloud and 180,000 connected PC workstations. With our work, we support the agencies for work and job centers nationwide. The Federal Employment Agency (BA) provides comprehensive services for citizens, businesses and institutions as the largest service provider for the German labour market. Every year, we introduce around 30 trainees as a specialist informant (w/m/d) in various disciplines, such as Luan: “I chose to train as a specialist informant for application development at BA’s IT system house because I wanted my code to make a real difference. ‘ You learn to develop complex software and are constantly growing in opportunities and challenges. You plan, realize, test and document customer-specific software solutions. You learn to use software development tools and work in different teams. You fix bugs in our software by using different tools. You will learn methods of project management and agile software development. You advise users (w/m/d) and perform presentations.
You have good analytical skills and enjoy new languages like JAVA, SQL and UML. You plan tasks exactly and implement them carefully. You have a degree, a professional qualification or a good middle education degree. You have a knowledge of German that corresponds at least to the language level B2.
