About us Set-Up Management & Production Logistics in melt operation ensures efficient planning, control and continuous optimization of production-related processes. Through the close interconnection of setup management, production logistics and lean methods, the department makes a significant contribution to the performance and competitiveness of SCHOTT special glass production. Your duties Integrated control and optimization of setup processes incl. Ensuring a stable production start Analysis and sustainable improvement of processes and technical equipment to increase efficiency in melt operation Planning of production processes, resources and budget in your own responsibility Control of production and intralogistics (material flow, stocks, SAP processes) Further development of lean methods and implementation of optimization initiatives (e.g. SMED) Ensuring EHS standards and initiation of appropriate improvement measures Leadership, motivation and development of a team of 10 to 15 employees in the production environment Your profile Complete Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering or comparable qualification First professional experience in manufacturing, process engineering or production logistics Practice in Lean Management as well as process and efficiency optimization Experience in handling SAP and common digital tools (e.g. MS365) Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Analytical, structured operation and pronounced communication strength Responsibility and first experience in leadership or coordination of teams Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
