As a transmission system operator, we secure the power supply for around eleven million people in Baden-Württemberg. We create the infrastructure for the energy transition by maintaining, optimizing and expanding the high-voltage network according to needs. System operation is responsible for the stability of our power grid. The special IT department provides the necessary critical IT infrastructure and complex applications, from network control to optimization of power imbalances in Europe – all from its own state-of-the-art data center in Wendlingen. You are responsible for the provision and IT operation of high-availability data couplings with, among other things, European transmission system operators. You project new data couplings and conduct change and release management in cooperation with internal and external partners. You monitor the data couplings and ensure the quality of service provision. You ensure second-level support and participate in a changing call readiness.

You have completed their studies in computer science, business information technology, information technology or comparable training and first practical experience in data coupling/process interfaces (Protocols IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104 and TASE.2). You have knowledge in the field of IP networks as well as transmission technology and have first contact points with measurement and analysis tools such as Fink, Wireshark and FNT-Command for the analysis and documentation of system landscapes. You have a high affinity to critical processes and systems and know the relevance of a company in the KRITIS environment. You are powerful and distinguished by an independent and analytical, process-oriented method. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
