from now on and in full time, nationwide at a BWI location.

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security.

The "Application Hosting" service package is responsible for the operation of customer applications in the data centers of the Bundeswehr. It ensures and coordinates the implementation, migration and operation of existing and new applications on these platforms.

Your profile:

• Complete studies in the field of economics and/or computer science or comparable training
• About 5 years of relevant professional experience as well as experience in professional leadership and IT customer projects in the public or industrial environment
• Very good knowledge of IT services such as managed servers, managed database, virtualization solutions, middleware products and networks, ideally in data center environments
• knowledge of ITIL and agile methods as well as in the management of IT solutions and in IT migration or outsourcing projects, ideally in the administrative environment
• An analytical thinking and organizational capacity, decision-making and enforcement strength as well as a targeted, responsible way of working
• German language skills in language such as writing

Your tasks:

• Responsibility for service management as well as the operation of customer applications along the entire service lifecycle
• Responsibility for the control, coordination and professional management of a virtual, interdisciplinary service team
• Responsibility for ensuring contractual performance and service quality, e.g. SLA and costs
• Ensuring compliance and operating processes in Application Hosting
• Participation in solution design and implementation and development of new applications and services
