Assistant physician - Urologie / Endourologie (m/w/d)

The urology comprises 60 beds, distributed in two stations. The number of operations is approx. 4000 per year, with the operational spectrum of the department comprising all transurethral, endourological, laparoscopic (also robot-assisted) and open-surgical procedures. The latter include radical tumour surgery: cystoprostatectomy with all forms of urinary dissipation, potent prostatectomy, radical tumour nephrectomy (organic renal tumor surgery) and radical tumour surgery of the outer genitale. A further focus is the holmium laser nucleation of the prostate in glands of any size. As a certified laser centre, the clinic is the leading centre in Europe.

Endourological interventions contain diagnostic and therapeutic ureteroroscopy and percutaneous pyeloscopy and pyelolitholapaxie as well as all endourological interventions with flexible endoscopes. Laparoscopic interventions are carried out on the pelvine lymph nodes, kidneys and adrenal glands.

The urological functional department operates a modern X-ray device, a complete urodynamic measuring station, a cystoscopy unit and four ultrasonic devices. In diagnostic studies, this functional department, which is exclusively operated by the urology, is approx. 25,000 studies carried out in about 7,500 patients per year.

Your duties

Own-responsible organisation of a urological station (station doctor) and patient care • Participation in the independent stand-by service • Working in outpatient operations • Working in surgery

Conditions

Remuneration according to EC I TV Doctors VKA • Working hours 40 hours per week • Restriction with subject-matter in the course of further education for 60 months

Adjustment requirement: before commencement of activity - proof of measles immunity / mascot protection vaccination for born after 1970.
