Business Development Manager (m/w/d) Customs Product / Zoll

Your main task is to determine and complete the business with new customers for the Customs Standalone segment, i.e. to actively drive forward the further development of the product at DHL Global Forwarding Germany You will collect all relevant customer information when tendering with customs cover and prepare the necessary documents for customer implementation as well as the operational handover (project management, contract design in coordination with the legal department, authorization, creation and tuning of standard operating procedures, installation of customer accounts in the DGF systems) If necessary, you will introduce measures to reimplement existing businesses (e.g. due to contract extensions, service extensions or process improvements) You work closely with internal product managers and independently identify the market needs for customs services You participate in national, regional and global customer invitations with customs cover Through proactive and strategic action as well as a successful pipeline management, you achieve the specified sales and strategy goals according to annual business plan The creation and maintenance of information and sales documents as well as other sales-promoting communications media for customs services are also your tasks You regularly check the internal price calculation for the offered customs services and initiate corrective measures if necessary You process ad hoc requests for short-term customs clearances The work with the DGF-CRM system and the collection of all relevant data round your activity profile That's what we want from you:

Completed commercial studies (Uni/ FH/ Dual University) or comparable commercial training with adequate professional experience Customs and customs expertise Embossed sales affinity, high level of customer orientation and independent working Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing Very good PC knowledge (M365 incl. MS Visio, MS Projects) Embossed communication and presentation capabilities as well as safe occurrence Analytical thinking and solution-oriented approach Teamability, resilience and flexibility in stress situations
