ETC currently employs around 800 people at its five locations in Capenhurst (UK), Jülich (Germany), Almelo (Netherlands), Tricastin (France) and Eunice (USA) and grows due to the rising demand for low-carbon energy worldwide. We are looking for a new location in Jülich IT Team Manager Infrastructure (m/w/d) (PA No: 25/26)

You lead and develop an interactive team of system, workplace and network engineers and promote a performance-oriented, feedback-strong and learning culture You are responsible for the strategic development and implementation of a scalable infrastructure roadmap (Server, Storage, Modern Workplace, Network – On-Premise and Cloud) in line with our customer and corporate goals You provide a high-availability ''always-on'' infrastructure for our production sites and ensure performance and stability in integrated OT/IT environments You work closely with IT security and implement modern security standards (e.g. Zero Trust, Disaster Recovery, Proactive Threat Mitigation) You control international IT projects and the entire IT lifecycle, secure seamless integration into the global infrastructure and manage provider and budget management on premium service level

You have completed their studies in BWL, Computer Science, Information Technology or a comparable field, as well as relevant IT experience, of which at least 5 years in senior position with international team responsibility You possess well-founded expertise in on-premise and hybrid cloud environments as well as in common security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST) and understand security as a basic prerequisite - Experience in the production or industrial environment is advantageous You convince by strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, act strategically, structured and result-oriented and have successfully accompanied transformations in dynamic, global organizations You act as a coach and model, drive continuous improvement and operational excellence, think agile, are ready to travel and strong in cost and budget management You communicate safely in English, both in word and in writing
