Plant Manager (m/w/d) Metal Processing in the Group

For the profitable metalworking plant in Siegen we are looking for an experienced plant manager (m/w/d) for the management and further development of the site with approx. 300 employees. You drive Lean Management and Kaizen forward, reduce complexity in the processes and develop sustainable strategies to respond quickly and flexibly to current market changes. You actively seek exchanges with other works of the group and understand how to create and use synergies in an international matrix organization. Due to your experience in change management, you will take your team on the way to changes with value.

In our search we are directed to candidate:inside with experience in the factory management in metal processing. Candidates are ideal:inside, You bring experience with automated production as well as manual production. Responsibility for the operational management, optimization and strategic further development of your work with approx. 300 employees with full P&L responsibility Ensure optimal productivity and utilization of your location with regard to current market developments and changes Analysis of the actual and target situation and the resulting creation of decision bases for investment in the plant, e.g. for further automation Establish and further develop a lived operational excellence with the help of Lean Management, Kaizen and GEMBA with the aim of reducing rejection and throughput times Ensuring and optimizing lived QEHS measures together with your team Construction, development and development of executives to a strong, performance-oriented team with KPIs accompanying the team on the way to changes; Promoting closer cooperation with the Group's other works to use synergies and best practice Establish a team and communication culture as well as a lively exchange among one another, e.g. through regular employee meetings

Successfully completed engineering studies, e.g. in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, production engineering, etc. Insufficient experience in managing a plant or production site in metal processing or automotive with full P&L responsibility Experience in automated and manual production environments Detectable successes in increasing productivity, developing lean management processes and introducing KPIs Dynamic, decision-making leadership (previous leadership: indirectly at least 100 employees) with modern, inclusive leadership style Detectable achievements in cultural change management and communication of changes to the team and executives Entrepreneurial thinking and vision, paired with pronounced hands-on mentality Excellent German and reliable English skills
