Senior Test Engineer Testing and Validation (m/f/d)

As a senior test engineer, you are responsible for testing our missile and start systems – from component to overall system. You plan test campaigns, build test rigs and put our systems to their limits under realistic conditions, so that You meet the highest requirements for performance, robustness and reliability. You develop test plans and test procedures on component, subsystem and system levels You design, build and take test benches and measuring systems into operation You plan, conduct and test development, qualification and acceptance tests You coordinate tests with external test equipment and flight test ranges Ensure complete, traceable test documentation and complete traceability You support flight test campaigns and perform structured error and cause analyses

That's what you bring: Complete study of electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of expertise • Embossed hand-on mentality and a structured, safety-conscious way of working High readiness for travel, also for multi-week operations on test ranges Very good knowledge of German (at least C1) and good knowledge of English Nationality of an EU or NATO Member State (except the USA) and readiness to review the security under SÜG desirable / of advantage: Experience with missile, missile or aviation systems Knowledge of Flight Test Ranges and their Requirements Experience in handling pyrotechnic systems and rocket engines as well as the ability to use explosives Knowledge in measurement technology, data acquisition and data evaluation Knowledge of military test and qualification standards (e.g. MIL-STD, AECTP, STANAG)
