Type of employment: Unlimited Working time: Full time Place of work: Gunzenhausen As a software architect: you are the driving force in digitizing our production. You are responsible for the design and implementation of innovative software solutions that act as a bridge between production and digital twin. You accompany the entire development cycle from requirement analysis to commissioning and actively shape the Industry 4.0 landscape at Bosch. You design the central technical interface between physical production and digital twin by designing data models and architectures for seamless integration and visualization of production data. Lead directly in the production environment You carry out detailed process analyses, identify potentials for increasing efficiency and translate them into precise technical requirements for our software solutions. You design and implement future-oriented software architectures, in particular for Python-based backend solutions for data processing and modern Angular web applications. With a strong focus on user-optimized surfaces (UI/UX), you can work closely with the users: to ensure intuitive usability and high acceptance of the developed applications. In addition, you design and manage the required database structures for mapping the manufacturing processes and feeding the digital twin. Last but not least, ensure the quality, stability and scalability of the applications and accompany the rollout of the solutions in our plants.

Education: completed studies of computer science, business informatics, mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification with a strong relation to software Experiences and know-how: many years of professional experience in software development, ideally as a software architect:in well-founded knowledge of full-stack development, especially in the backend (Python) and frontend (Angular) Expertise in databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL detectable experience in the analysis of processes, preferably in the production environment Knowledge about Industry 4.0, IoT platforms and concepts of digital twins are advantageous SAP knowledge in the manufacturing environment, for example in modules such as SAP ME/MII or PP, are a plus
