It belongs to the department of the Federal Ministry of Finance and operates according to the modern standards of the real estate industry. The focus is on the uniform real estate management of the federal government, the real estate administration and the sale of the property, as well as the forest and nature conservation specialist care of the property properties. Around 7,000 employees work for the BImA, distributed to the headquarters in Bonn and nine directories as well as more than 120 locations.

The dual study takes place in cooperation with DHBW Mannheim. There the theoretical part will also take place in presence. The practical assignments take place at the headquarters in Bonn and at various locations (e.g. Erfurt, Dresden, Potsdam). In the course of dual studies, the basics of business and economics, internal and external accounting, financial management, law and tax theory, economic informatics, economic English as well as key qualifications (including scientific work, communication skills, stress and conflict management, human resources development, leadership skills) are taught. The administrative content covers, inter alia, municipal, municipal, administrative and labour law, public accounting, financial management, human resources management and administrative and process management. These contents are provided both at the headquarters in Bonn and at our directorates at various locations.

You need this school degree as a basis for the start of your studies: general or subject-bound university maturity or professional university maturity with at least satisfactory grades in the core subjects German and mathematics. The public administration and the real estate and financial management are interesting for you. You bring an understanding of basic commercial relationships.
