The SPU is the joint production unit of ZEISS. We produce key components for our ZEISS savings and are therefore the proficient and the hand of the pioneer ZEISS. With us creative ideas are implemented reliably. Your role Production process: Ensuring a smooth, quality-friendly and safe production process on galvanic plants.

Plant preparation: refurbishment and preparation of plants, provision of equipment and auxiliaries, filling of plants with chemicals, selection and charging of production programs, as well as automatic adjustment of plant parameters.

Process monitoring: inserting the workpieces, starting and monitoring the coating process in compliance with all safety requirements.

Quality assurance: performing process-accompanying tests, checking for errors, documentation of the test results, and reporting of deviations with initiation of measures.

Maintenance and maintenance: cleansing, regular maintenance work, preventive maintenance support, and ensuring optimal plant use.

Please note that the job is limited to one year, with the possibility to gain valuable experience and develop further.

Qualification: completed technical or chemical training, e.g. as surface coating or comparable qualification is advantageous

Experience: Ideally, first experience in the handling of production facilities, in the field of electroplating and basic knowledge in the handling of chemicals and hazardous materials.

Process understanding: understanding of process parameters such as temperature, pressure and concentrations; Experience in reading work and testing plans.

Technical skills: technical understanding, process thinking and ability to set parameters independently.

Working methods: Careful and systematic operation, especially in the handling of chemicals, high safety and responsibility awareness, reliability, team capacity, loadability and readiness for shiftwork (3-layer).
